Goatheads

Sure, Utah's weather is enjoyable, but those prickly weeds aren't. Not only do they make cycling and gardening hell but they also attack stroller wheels!

Halloween

We took Ian to the children' s museum for halloween and all got to dress up. Ian didn't show much interest in the "enchanted woods" tour where kids met famous storybook characters. He only cared for playing. Better luck next year.

Enjoying the garden's harvest

As we showed you the garden, we thought it would be nice to let you see its produce. Here are some pictures of some of the vegetables I needed for a French rustic recipe: la potée. The only veggies that didn't come out of our garden were the turnips.


I'd like to point out the color of the carrots: that's right, they're purple!
